Legal status of a teacher: from the constitution of the RSFSR of 1918 till the constitution of the USSR of 1936

The article deals with the development of a legal status of a teacher during the first decades of the Soviet power. The measures aimed at the improvement of teachers' legal and the economic conditions during the 1918-1936 were impartially necessary prerequisite for establishment and functioning of the legal status. The study concerned with the teacher's status as a main subject of education system is relevant due to the Federal law “Concerning education in the Russian Federation" coming into force on September, 1, 2013.
