Legal aspects of the genesis of the institute of peace judges

Resume: In this article, the author explores the genesis of the institution of magistrates. During the analysis, the author considers the history of the formation of justices of the peace and concludes the legal nature of the institution of justices of the peace in the Russian Federation. The analysis allows the author, also, to determine the period of origin of the institution of justices of the peace.
