Legal basics of transport safety and security of the Crimean bridge

This article explores the legal regulation of transport safety and security of the Crimean Bridge. As a particularly important strategic object that connects the Crimean peninsula with the mainland of the Russian Federation, the Crimean Bridge has a multi-stage system of protection, ensuring of which involves a wide range of actors. The author traced the dynamics of changes in the regulatory framework of transport safety of the Crimean Bridge at the stages of its construction and commissioning. The main federal executive authorities and their subordinate organizations involved in the protection of the bridge have been characterized. The specifics of division of competence for the protection of land, water (including underwater) and air security zones of the Crimean Bridge are revealed.
