Legal problems of ensuring personal safety in transport in the conditions of using individual electric transport

The role of transport in society is difficult to overestimate. Today's pace of life, especially felt in large cities and megacities, makes new demands on human mobility. In this regard, previously unknown transport solutions are becoming popular. Individual electric vehicles are widely used in different countries of the world (Segway, gyroscope, electric scooter, monocycle, etc.). The number of such vehicles is growing exponentially, and since any vehicle is a source of increased danger personal safety in transport should be given special attention, not only in practice, but also in theory. On the basis of the analysis of the current Russian and foreign legislation, materials of judicial practice, as well as Russian and foreign scientific sources, the legal problems of ensuring personal safety when using individual electric transport are analyzed. In conclusion, on the basis of generalization of scientific and regulatory sources, the amendments to the current legislation of the Russian Federation are substantiated.
