Legal problems of regulating the procedure for transferring a child to a foster family in Russia

The foster family in modern realities plays a very important role in the successful formation and development of orphans and children left without the care of their parents. The process of educating this category of children in the appropriate educational, medical and similar organizations not only does not give the proper effect, but often enough contributes to the fact that the child develops deviant behavior. Experts note that only under the condition of family education it becomes possible to solve the problem of preparing orphaned children for independent life. In this article, the author draws attention to the relevance of the problem of child orphanhood today, provides official statistics and analyzes the problems of legal regulation of the order of transfer of a child (children) to foster parents under a foster family agreement.
