Holiday and war: experience of celebrations in 1943-1945 (case study of Krasnodar krai and Rostov region)

The article is concerned with the celebrations during the Great Patriotic War in 1943-1945. The author studies the features of their preparation and organization, the role and the meaning of such celebrations for the state and the society. The transformation of the holidays during the period of the war is considered in the paper. The special attention is paid to the specifics of celebrations in the regions.
