Holiday tun-payram as a traditional element of Khaktas culture

In this article the main traditions of the Khakass people connected with the national holiday "tun-payram" are considered. Definitions of the concept of a national holiday are given. The classification of Khakass holidays is described, depending on their functions. Some ritual features characteristic of the given holiday are considered.
