The fatigue limit of MR material for different load direction

A wire damping material MR (Metal Rubber) is used widely for vibration and shock protection of different equipment. The results of researching of fatigue limit of MR material for different load direction are presented, a fatigue curves are obtained. An influence of parameters of material and lubricant on fatigue limit is researched. A method of calculation of life-time of vibration isolator made of MR material is proposed.
