Predictors of repeated suicide attempts in patients of a psychiatric institution

Abstract: Repeated suicide attempts constitute a special problem in suicidology. Mortality by suicide is higher among the suicide repeaters. The paper investigates repeated suicide attempts, to compare their features to those of first-time attempts and to determine factors associated with repeated suicide.
