Identification parade: concept, object-matters

There is discussed concept, object-matters and content of such measure of investigation as identification parade. A brief genesis of this measure of investigation, which eventually led to its inclusion in the criminal-procedural law of the Russian Federation, is described. It is determined that an identification parade is an independent measure of investigation, differing from investigative interview and other legal proceedings. Points of view of various authors on this measure of investigation and various viewpoints on the concept, content and essence of identification parade are revealed in the article. The object- matter of procedure of identification parade is shown.
