The object and purpose of literary criticism in methodological interpretation by Y. I. Selezneva

The article investigates the identity of the subject and the methodological problems of interpretation of literary criticism by Y.I. Seleznev. Special attention is paid to the justification of the ideological and practical relevance of the treatment for critical assessments of both general trends in literary criticism, as well as individual works of modern Russian literature.
