The Iyus buried treasure from the basin of the Chulym river is regarded as one of the most representative collection of household and religious items (i. e. 278 samples) of the South Siberia of the Early Iron Age period. The part of this buried treasure items are referred to the so-called «Tagar» bronze. It includes such bronze objects as a kettle, a zoomorphic knob, mirrors, a belt set items, parts of horse harness, jewelry. The Iyussk buried treasure is considered to be a historical source of information related to the Hun-Sarmatian period of «the Hun Province of Minousinsk» and its adjacent territories of the end of 1000 BC - the beginning of AD 1000.
