The article considers the prerequisites for the digital transformation of tourism enterprises. It is established that digital technologies are being implemented in business activities and are changing the organizational and marketing environment of tourist enterprises, contributing to their innovative development. It is proved that the use of digital technologies in the activities of tourism enterprises opens up new opportunities, but also creates significant challenges. It all depends on how tourism companies approach the process of using digital technologies: chaotically or strategically. The use of effective information systems based on business analytical platforms enables managers of tourism enterprises to turn data into information about the current situation, and then information into knowledge for managing the tourism business. It was found out that it is necessary to determine the digital rights of tourist enterprises, to develop packages of universal digital tourist services, that is, standard packages of digital services that should be available digitally for each tourist. In addition, as a result of the lack of legislative infrastructure, it is necessary to develop and approve draft laws to eliminate legislative, institutional and other barriers to the development of the tourist economy, the formation of appropriate conditions, incentives, motivations, demand and needs for the use of digital technologies by the tourism business.
