Introduction: the author considers prerequisites for new academic knowledge in the form of private forensic theory of security support for participants in criminal proceedings as protected persons. The author is focusing on systematization and analysis of logically interrelated scientific concepts and opinions that express forensic activity as a legal category with regard to security support for these participants. The author pays special attention to the definition of the concept and formulating a conceptual framework of private forensic theory of security support for protected persons, justification of its general theoretical and applied significance as an independent scientific direction.
