Preconditions of social dependency of Russian youth

The article studies the reasons of spread of the social dependency as a deliberate life strategy among young people, the factors affecting development of the young dependent identity. The results of the sociological research dealing with the youth dependency in the northern districts of the Tyumen region are presented. The authors suggest some principles of development of an active life philosophy of young people as opposed to passive dependency outlook.
