The history and precondition for resettlement of Estonians at the end of the 19th - the early 20th centuries

In this article discusses the evolution of the process of Estonians’ resettlement to Tavria’s province. The history of settlement of the Tavria’s province by foreign colonists after the destructive Crimean war of 1853-1856 is considered an obligatory part of the history of the Crimean Peninsula. Ethnic groups have made a personal contribution to the cultural heritage of the Crimea. Currently, more than 30 national-cultural societies function in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, 24 of them are officially registered. The relevance and novelty of the topic chosen by the author lies in the fact that the history of the resettlement of Estonians and their way of life in the Tavria’s province at the end of the XIX - early of the XX centuries It is considered an obligatory component not only of the history of the peninsula, but also of Estonia itself. The author focuses to the reasons for the resettlement of Estonians to the Tauride province in the late XIX-early XX centuries, based on religious and economic prerequisites.
