Entrepreneurial activity: aspects, trends and prospects for entrepreneurship development

The definitions of entrepreneurship given by scientists at different time periods are discussed in the article starting with R. Cantillon. The author’s definition of entrepreneurial activity (entrepreneurship) updating the modern features of entrepreneurship is given in the article: group entrepreneurship and interaction with contractors; searching, updating or creating a need for product, work or service; the need for material and non-material resources; voluntary commitment of doing business on the basis of social responsibility. The author systematized the structure of entrepreneurial activity aspects and components which include: the first level - aspects of entrepreneurial activity; the second level - components of entrepreneurial activity. The reasons, patterns, and trends of entrepreneurial activity are given by the author in the article.
