The article presents the results of a study of the types and forms of entrepreneurial activity. It is concluded that despite the specifics of various types of entrepreneurial activity, they are mutually complementary. A comparative analysis of the creation of a business without the formation of a legal entity and with the formation of a legal entity is carried out. The key factor of success is not only the form of doing business, but also its content.
