Entrepreneurship is a cornerstone of Russian statehood

This article examines the development of entrepreneurship in Russia in the 90-ies of XX century. The analysis of the process of formation and expansion of small business interaction with other structures of the economic system, the initiative promotes a progressive, dynamic economic development of the country. Identified the causes that negatively affect small business development. Attention is paid to the state support of small business in Russia.
