Purpose: Research of representing principals in courts in custody disputes as an independent form of advocacy. Methodology: Formally-legal method was used. Results: Article is devoted to the research of such form of advocacy as representing principals in courts in custody disputes. The author reviews the special aspects of this form, proves, that this form of advocacy is the independent one and analyzes its nature and content. Novelty/originality/value: Article possesses the high scientific value as is one of the first attempts to consider representing principals in courts in custody disputes as an independent form of advocacy.
