Notions about the collective and the individual in antique philosophical doctrines

With the aim of overcoming the limited interpretations of collectively-oriented and individualistically-oriented social-philosophical conceptions the author of the article offers their more flexible classification that is shown by the example of the analysis of the doctrines of the philosophers of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.
