The article deals with the attempt to reveal Christian grounds in European philosophy and culture. The author considers common sense of absolute Christianity as the process of dynamic interrelations between two ideas: the idea of radical depravity of a person and the idea of redemption or theanthropism. Original Christianity combines transcendence and immanence of God to a person.
