Poll: Russian women’s estimation of economic activity and its motivation

The paper covers results of the Russian women’s economic activities survey. The research considers opinions about personal characteristics and features which attend economic activity, as well as the motives or reasons which impel women to obtain extra employment or carry on own business. The study shows, that Russian women appreciate the ability to meet family needs, but also connections, competences and luck, moreover, their assessments depend on their economic experiences. Entrepreneurship is spurred by projects, ambitions, inability to get a job or work under the direction of somebody. Extra-employment is stimulated mostly by severe financial state.
