Prevention of minor complicity in crimes in the digital age

Introduction: the article is devoted to the current state of group crimes of minors, the forms and methods of its prevention using information and telecommunication technologies. Materials and Methods: the article was prepared on the basis of the analysis of statistical data on group crimes of minors; empirical data obtained as a result of questioning and analysis of accounting and preventive documentation of departments for juvenile affairs; criminological forecasting of the situation change influenced by digital factors. Results: the author has developed proposals for improving the special criminological and individual prevention of complicity of minors in crimes, taking into account the capabilities of different subjects of prevention. Discussion and Conclusions: active introduction of modern IT into social life, on the one hand, creates preconditions for qualitative changes in the elements of the mechanism of group criminal behavior of minors, on the other hand, provides new opportunities for improving the effectiveness of the subjects of prevention to counteract the complicity of minors in crime.
