Preliminary evaluation of the effectiveness of grant support programs for young scientists

The author gives a generalized description of the grant support programs provided to young scientists in Russia. The article describes federal and regional grant competitions. The effectiveness of such programs is determined, according to documentary reporting, as well as the opinion of an expert. Examples of successful companies that have received grant support are given. The expert highlighted the problems that young scientists face when receiving grant support and the ways to solve them, which the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Perm Region resorts to.
