The preliminary data about fauna of rove beetles (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) from Kabardino-Balkarian state high-mountain reserve (Central Caucasus)

The data on the fauna and ecology of rove beetles (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) from the Kabardino-Balkarian state high-mountain reserve preliminary including 51 species related to 27 genera and 7 subfamilies (Omaliinae, Proteininae, Tachyporinae, Oxytelinae, Steninae, Paederinae and Staphylininae), are given. From them 13 species for the first time for Kabardino-Balkarian Republic are given. Scopaeus gusarovi is for the first time found on Central Caucasus. Most of the species belong to the subfamily Staphylininae (21 species).
