Archaeological sites of Ankhe culture are located in central part of Vietnam, in the intermountain hilly plain cut by the rivers and temporary streams with west-east direction. There are 13 locations with the surface concentrations of archaeological material within this territory. The very first location, found in 2014, was named Rock Tung. They gave multiple and representative archaeological collections. Their typology and technology reflect all the characteristics of lithic industry, found at Rock Tung group of sites. Archaeological material was found in situ in the third stratigraphical level, presented with the ancient weathering crust composed with laterites and mixed-pebble horizon in its upper part.
