Organized by IAET SB RAS and National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan the common expedition explored the area near Ekibastuz town at the territory of Pavlodar Region. Two areas were included in the investigation: south of town to Bayanaul Mountains and eastward to Kalkaman village. This area is undulating plain with numerous small bitter and salty lakes, located in north part of Kazakh hummocky topography. Present study counted the specific geomorphological position of the previously obtained archaeological objects and focused on the lake coastlines. Expedition found the surface sites near three lakes - Angren, Kudaikol and Karasor. We fixed six surface sites here, but no one stratified archaeological object was obtained. In studies of the coastal area near Angren lake two artifact concentrations were found - Angren-1 and-2. Expedition collected 82 artifacts here, mainly included the products of primary knapping - cores and flakes. Both occurrences are confined to flint outcrops and can be determined as the workshops. The Kudaikol-6 location was revealed on the view of the northern coast at the Kudaikol lake. The products of the primary knapping, single end-scrapers and points (34 items) present in the collection. One more occurrence is situated on the coastline of Karasor lake, where three localities gave 96 lithics, including the cores, flakes, end-scrapers, points and bifaces. The character of the archaeological material permits to date all found sites to Final Paleolithic - Neolithic.
