Continuity of Russia’s national projects in the sphere of demography

This article assesses the implementation of Russia’s national projects in the field of demography. It is no secret that in Russia, as in the rest of the world, over the past 100 years there has been a «demographic transition», that is, a decline in the birth rate and an increase in life expectancy. There are many reasons for this situation. One of them is the development of medicine, which has reduced infant mortality and increased life expectancy. That is, the development of such a science as medicine has led to problems in demography. However, we cannot go back. Therefore, problems in the field of demography must be solved in a different way. In our country, it is supposed to solve these problems with the help of measures provided for by consistently implemented national projects: NP «Demography» and NP «Family». The results of the implementation of NP «Demography», completed in 2024, can be called an increase in the number of large families, the number of children in families, a change in public opinion about their number in the family. The results of the implementation of the NP «Family» can be judged after the end of 2030, although already during its formation one can speak of violations of the deadlines.
