The system of development of horizontal layers with backfill is characterized by high costs for the construction of an artificial massif. It is proposed to reduce the cost of stowing works due to the complete exclusion of high-cost hardening mixtures from production. The design of a new version of the system for the development of horizontal layers with backfill for the Kauldy field is presented. When the thickness of the ore body is 3-5 m and the strength on the scale of M.M. Protodyakonov is 13-14, it is effective to use the chamber-and-pillar mining system.
