The author analyzes statutory regulation of the legal relationship in the context of independent-work contract; generalizes jurisprudence concerning disputable requirements of termination of the contract upon the initiative of one of the parties. The article contains practical guidelines for regulation of contractual relations of the main participants of construction process under condition of unilateral termination of the agreement.
