Overcoming the crisis of civilization through its acceleration: accelerationism

The author considers the problem of overcoming the crisis of civilization in the context of the works of representatives of the philosophical direction of accelerationism. Having briefly indicated its basic statements, the author proceeds to consider the positions of two main types of accelerationism: «left» and «right». The author concludes that the main goal of the acceleration project to consider the possibility of resolving the crisis of civilization by accelerating of capitalism development was not convincingly solved, largely due to the rejection of the essential approach to social reality.
