Obstacles and prospects for transition of Russia's industry to "Industry 4.0"

The article presents the results of an analysis of the possibility of the transition of Russian industry to the new technological concept “Industry 4.0”. The essence of the concept “Industry 4.0” is defined, which consists in the enhanced integration of “cyberphysical systems” in the production and technological processes of an industrial enterprise. The main existing problems in the industry are identified, directions for improving the current situation that will eliminate the lag of the Russian industry in innovative development from the leading countries are considered.
