Crime as a victimization factor minors

The ideas of a conceptual solution to the problem of criminal (as produced by crime) victimization are presented, in which crime is considered as its main factor and attention is focused on a special type - the criminalized victim . The status characteristics of the key categories of the author’s concept are formulated, among which the mechanism of victimological prevention of crime, in particular victimological prevention and de-victimization of juvenile victims, as well as victimological safety are highlighted . The point of view on victimization is presented exclusively as a process resulting in victimization, and on this category itself, the essence of which is seen not only as a product of victimization, but also an objectively inherent property of a person that weakens or deprives him of the ability to resist criminal encroachment . The perspective of criminological research of the identified problems is expressed from the position of using the results in developing the concept of the victimological aspect of juvenile policy as a priority branch of crime prevention policy .
