Crimes in the sphere of digital economy: improvement of investigation on the basis of electronic forensics

The article explores the actual theoretical and applied problems of investigating crimes in the digital society. Examples are given of domestic and foreign investigative practices in cases of criminal encroachments involving the circulation of crypto currency. To increase the effectiveness of their investigation, it is proposed to use more actively the provisions of the criminalistic theory of computer information research and its processing tools - Electronic forensics. Its contents, system elements and other General provisions are given. Attention is focused on the need to develop a theory of electronic evidence within the criminal procedure science and the establishment of science-related links between it and Electronic forensic science.
