The Armed Forces, as an independent public-law institution, are part of the modern Russian society, but with the inherent specific demographic, organizational and administrative, social, psychological and legal peculiarities. Military crime negatively affects not only the Armed Forces and military discipline, but also the state as a whole as one of the internal indicators through which society assesses the state social security and climate. In this connection there is a problem of strengthening the legislature in the Armed Forces requires working out and solution not only in prior, but also perspective tasks for military crime prevention.
