Causation of omission in criminal law

The problem of the causality of criminal omission is examined in the article. Addressing this issue, the author consistently examines the theoretical concepts about the nature of causality, omission, socially dangerous consequences. The author analyzes the arguments that are traditionally given in support of the causality of omission, and concludes that they are not able to support this assumption. Additionally, the author substantiates the possibility of causing of non-material socially dangerous consequences by omission and informational causing of material socially dangerous consequences.
