The reasons for destabilization of the political processes in Egypt and Libya in the conditions of “Arab awakening” at the beginning of the XXI century

The article defines the specificity of the “colour revolutions” and “Arab awakening”. The author analyzes the causes of political destabilization in Egypt and Libya at the beginning of the XXI century. The correlation of global development, modernization and internal features of political processes is considered. The key role of information technologies in political destabilization in Egypt and Libya is established.
