The article discusses the main reasons for the information gap between digital twins and production systems at a metallurgical enterprise. It analyses the difficulties in synchronizing changes in digital models and physical equipment, as well as the problems of fragmentation in digital transformation. It proposes modern organizational and technological tools for eliminating the gap, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and integrated data collection systems. The work aims to improve the accuracy and relevance of digital twins in metallurgy.
