Reasons of language shift in the environment of the Tuva population in the Usinsk hollow of the Krasnoyarsk krai

The article deals with the process of the language shift of the Tuvinean ethnic group living at the border with the Tuva Republic, exactly in the Usinsk valley of the Krasnoyarsk krai. The causes of the language shift (both objective and subjective) are shown. The research is based on the results of a psycholinguistic experiment taken in the Verkhneusinskoe village and Nizhneusinskoe villages.
