The article investigates reasons of forming and destroying a state of Ingush people during Soviet period of Russian development. Stalin’s voluntarism and his repressive policy were the main reasons for the elimination of the Ingush Autonomous Region, and then deportation of the Ingush people to the Northern Kazakhstan in 1944, February 23. Despite the disclosure of Stalin's personality cult and adoption of the law "About rehabilitation of repressed people", Ingush territories are still taken from them for the benefit of Ossetia, and the efforts to abolish the Ingush Republic basing on 1934 year's scenario are still taking place. These processes demonstrate stability of the totalitarian Stalinist policy towards the Caucasus.
Soviet ideology, issue of territory, russian peasants'' ideals, dictatorship of the proletariat, propagandistic bolshevik internationalism, repressive policy of stalin, sophisticated antagonism of stalin's national policy, international authority of the caucasus highlanders, concept of socialist modernism, politics and the "territorial issue"
