Applied aspects of the study of the territorial distribution of crime (for example, the commission of street robberies and robberies)

The article discusses the practical significance of the analysis of the territorial distribution of crime for the prevention of street robberies and robberies by the police and the organization of activities for the protection of public order. Special attention is paid to the importance of external conditions for the functioning of internal affairs bodies to analyze information on crimes of this type, emphasizes the importance of taking into account data on the place and time of the crime in the urban environment, the relationship of victimization with these conditions. This article was prepared in order to find practical directions for the application of the results of scientific research in the field of prevention of crimes of this type and the organization of police activities for the protection of public order.
