Use of the external transpedicular fixator for idiopathic scoliosis treatment

The authors have described the principles and peculiarities of scoliosis treatment using an external transpedicular fixator. Surgical treatment of scoliosis was proposed providing the possibility to achieve complete correction of the deformity with minimal invasion. Some variants of hypoinvasive treatment was considered depending on the disease severity. Use of this technique allows to activate patients in early periods, and also to correct the deformity with the spine mobility maintenance.
