The use of protein-platelet cartilage membrane in otorhinolaryngology at elimination of deformity and perforation of the nasal septum

A new method of reimplantation of cartilage has been developed and applied in septoplasty. Implantation of protein-platelet cartilage membrane between the mukoperichondrium layers has been performed to all patients. The study included 120 patients with deformity of the nasal septum, 12 patients with intraoperative mucosal defect of the nasal septum and six patients with perforation of the nasal septum.
