Application of digital technologies in marketing

The article is devoted to the practice of using parser technologies. Parsing (from the English parse - «parsing»), as a method of processing data from existing Internet resources, in order to collect any information, has become quite widespread in Internet marketing. The article provides a characteristic of the essence and defines the distinctive features of the parser, as well as substantiates the effectiveness of its use for working with the target audience. The authors come to the conclusion that modern marketing will be more effective if we use special technologies and tools in their work that can significantly increase the result of marketing actions. These tools include parsers, special software products, the main function of which is to obtain the necessary data corresponding to the specified parameters. These services are used by internet marketers, webmasters, SEO specialists, and sales staff. They are indispensable if you need to collect the target audience, analyze the organization’s website in order to work to improve the degree of its convenience for the consumer, as well as to analyze competitors’ websites and other marketing tasks. Developing digital technologies offer simple solutions for the implementation of professional functions, which until recently were quite time-consuming and resource-intensive. The manual method of collecting information in the context of the globalization of the information space is often not effective. In this context, the description of the essence, principles of operation, types of parsers used in marketing activities, which allow automating the collection of information about consumers according to specified criteria, seems to be very relevant.
