Application of aerophotography data in precision agriculture

The article discusses the possibility of using modern methods of obtaining and processing aerial photographs to optimize the agriculture management. As examples, several popular precision agriculture problems are presented using the automated unmanned aerial vehicle Geoscan-401, which allows obtaining high-resolution real-time data: an agricultural field orthophotomap tied to the global positioning system; digital models of terrain and water flows; as well as the calculation of vegetation indices.
