The article discusses the design features devices for getting pulp from sugar beet before sending samples for sugar content. During the studying of the process of obtaining samples of pulp from sugar beet, design limitations have been identified, which can be significantly improved only by using additional expensive equipment in the electric drive system. As an alternative to an electric drive with rotation motors, it is proposed to use a functional gearless electric drive, in which a combination of tubular and arc-stator linear asynchronous machines (TLAM and ASLAM) replacing the electric drive of these devices. The above-mentioned electric machines at a fairly low cost allow you to achieve both reciprocating motion and smooth control of the speed of rotation and torque output in the secondary circuits without the use of additional equipment, which ensures the versatility and energy efficiency of the devices in question.
