MapInfo Professional use GIS to create maps agrolandscapes (as an example Pavlogradsky district of Omsk region)

The technique of creating maps of agricultural landscapes using the MapInfo Professional program is presented. The importance of creating agricultural landscapes maps has predetermined the need to improve methods of rationalization of land management on the landscape-ecological basis. The main purpose of agri- cultural landscapes maps is the study of the morphological structure of agricultural landscapes. With an agri- cultural landscapes map in electronic form it is more convenient to carry out the subsequent study of the terri- tory by superimposing layers of information on a single cartographic base with modern computer products. MapInfo Professional is the most common and convenient for creating cartographic material of many GIS desktop tools popular in our country. There are five stages of creation of electronic thematic maps in this pro- gram: the first stage is the transformation of basic graphical data in raster graphic form; the second stage - transformation of raster images into digital vector form; third stage -processing of digital images; fourth stagemarginal representation; fifth stage - printing maps. This article considers stepwise all the stages of creation of agricultural landscapes maps on an example of territory of Pavlogradsky district of Omsk region. The basis for creating maps was derived from the soil map of Pavlogradsky district of Omsk region. The map shows the location of each type of agricultural landscapes. This map serves as a visual reproduction of the structure of anthropogenic territorial complexes, reflects the morphological structure of agricultural landscapes and serves as a basis for the development of ecological and economic zoning schemes and improving the use of© Коцур Е.В., Веселова М.Н., 2016 agricultural land. Thus, the use of maps of agricultural landscapes for evaluation of agricultural land reclama- tion, solving applied problems of land management, forest management and inventory work with the use of GIS technology helps to reduce the time of these works and to improve the quality of the results.
