In recent years, the use of increasingly advanced technology device roads. Together with the improvement of technology occurs and improve the quality and property of building materials. The main material is an asphalt concrete mixture. It consists of mineral materials (crushed stone, gravel, sand) and organic binder (bitumen). By changing the qualitative and quantitative composition of these elements, we can change the characteristics of the asphalt in a wide range. A full-fledged “road pie” is impossible without the use of geosynthetics. This type of material is divided into several types, each of which performs its function. Geotextile - separation of layers, geomat - protection from erosion, the geocell - strengthen the foundation, layout of slopes, the geocomposite - improve drainage, geomembrane, waterproofing. The cost of operation allows to reduce the application of water repellents, in addition they prevent the growth of moss on lesser used roads. “Road pie”, arranged with the implementation of all technologies and materials of proper quality can serve a much longer period of time without losing its properties.
