Neonicotinoid insecticides in veterinary practice (review)

The review is dedicated to neonicotinoid insecticides - active ingredients and preparative forms of neonicotinoids, their using for animal ectoparasites control. The neonicotinoid effectiveness against susceptible and resistant insect populations, mechanisms of action and the place of neonicotinoids in integrated animal protection system are discussed. Using of neonicotinoid insecticides in veterinary practice again fleas of domestic pets (dogs and cats) is considered in detail.
